2-3 year olds
Badgers and Foxes are set across two rooms on the ground floor of the building with regular access to a very large outdoor space
Our Badgers room has French doors, allowing the children easy access to the outdoor space. Children are surrounded by stimulating resources and activities promoting learning and development, with an area to snuggle up and read a book, and separate space for more active play.
Foxes room caters for the older children in this age group as they prepare to join our pre-school. Foxes room is large, spacious and bright with large windows which let the light stream in.
Planning follows the interests of the children and incorporates the seven areas of learning, recognised in the government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): With the areas being:
- Communication and Language (CL)
- Physical Development (PD)
- Personal, social and emotional development (PSED)
- Literacy (L)
- Mathematics (M)
- Understanding the world (UTW)
- Expressive arts and design (EAD)
